Amanda & Hayden were married on 19 December 2009. Their wedding was lovely and they must be the most easy going couple I’ve photographed! Even when Amanda couldn’t find her shoes until just before leaving for the wedding she wasn’t worried and would have happily got married in bare feet.

I may just be the slackest blogger ever! Life is so hectic at this time of year and I’ve been struggling to fit life in let alone get photos edited and out to clients. Blogging has been bottom of my list but here are a few photos taken over a month ago.
This furry family member wasn’t too keen for me to get close to Evie or Mum..
… but soon relaxed enough for a quick snooze. 
I have been following the blog of an AMAZING American photographer – Jasmine Star. She has given me so much inspiration and I was excited to hear she was doing a workshop in New Zealand. My excitement turned to disappointment when I found out it was in Christchurch. The cost of the airfares, along with the fee for the workshop just put it out of reach financially.
The other day Jasmine announced a competition on her website to win a FREE seat to her New Zealand Workshop! The only downside is that the entry consists of a self-portrait, but it’s worth it for the chance to attend Jasmine’s first (hopefully not the last) workshop.
Below is my (very rushed) effort of a self-portrait.

Arlo was just two weeks old when I took these photos of him last week. It took a bit to get him to sleep but even when he was awake he was perfect.
My children have had a camera in their faces for as long as they can remember. It’s actually hard to get a photo of them NOT looking at the camera because they’re so used to having to pose for me.
When I wanted to do some photos in front of a wall in town covered in grafitti all it took was the promise of an icecream on the way home to make them do whatever I wanted for the next 15 minutes!
This week I had the pleasure of photographing Neela who is three and a half months old.
In this first photo she had just woken up and wasn’t too fazed by a stranger looking at her through a big camera!
Some of my favourites from Kirsty & Richard’s wedding in February. They had a lovely ceremony overlooking the sea and photos at Pukekura Park and on our award winning coastal walkway.
